 Listening While God Turns the Pages

Life moves in chapters, and some of them feel long, quiet, or uncertain. We wait for God to turn the page, to shift the season, to open the next door. And waiting can stretch us — it can feel frustrating, slow, or confusing. But even in the stillness, God is speaking. His voice is gentle, steady, and sure. He guides us one step at a time, even when the chapter feels stuck. Behind the scenes, He is arranging, aligning, preparing, and protecting. When we listen for His voice, we remember that the Author of our story never stops writing. The page will turn — and when it does, it will be right on time. If God is writing the story, the timing will always be right

LORD, help us hear Your voice in every chapter of our lives. Teach us to wait with trust, knowing You are working in ways we cannot see. Strengthen every heart that feels stuck, weary, or uncertain. Turn the pages of our lives according to Your perfect timing, and let Your peace settle over all Your children as we follow Your voice.  In Jesus precious name, Amen.
