DEAR GOD: Carried Home by Your Love~

Isaiah 60:8 (KJV) “Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?”

 Carried Home by God
by C D Swanson~

Isaiah gives us a picture of God’s people returning to Him with the lightness of clouds and the gentleness of doves. Clouds move because the wind carries them. Doves return home because instinct guides them. Neither struggles. Neither forces their way. They are lifted, guided, and drawn.

This is what God does with His children.

He gathers us from places of heaviness, confusion, fear, and wandering. He draws us back toward peace, toward belonging, toward the place He prepared. You don’t have to fight your way back to God — He carries you. He guides you. He brings you home.

This verse is a reminder that you are not drifting. You are being guided. You are not lost. You are being gathered. You are not forgotten. You are being carried toward peace.

Reflective Question:

Where do you sense God gently pulling you back toward rest, clarity, or home in this season of your life?

LORD, carry me the way You carry the clouds and guide me the way You guide the doves. Lift me above the weight of my worries and draw me toward the place of peace You have prepared. Let Your presence be my home, Your voice my direction, and Your love my rest. Amen.
