Christ’s Sacrifice and Resurrection

Upon the cross, His arms outstretched wide, “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows” (Isaiah 53:4), by love applied. For sin and shame, the Lamb was slain, “He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities” (Isaiah 53:5), our souls sustain.

The earth grew dark, the heavens wept, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son” (John 3:16), this truth is kept. His blood poured forth to make us whole, “With his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5), salvation for the soul.

Three days He lay in the tomb so still, “But God raised him from the dead” (Acts 13:30), by heaven’s will. The stone rolled back, the grave could not bind, “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said” (Matthew 28:6), for all mankind.

From the depths of sorrow to eternal light, “I am the resurrection, and the life” (John 11:25), dispelling night. O death, thy sting, O grave, thy snare, “Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57), none can compare.

Through sacrifice divine, through holy gain, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13), our hearts remain. Jesus, our Redeemer, risen and crowned, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), love unbound.

With hearts brimming with gratitude, we come before Thee, Thanking Thee for the precious gift of Thy Son, Our Savior, Jesus Christ, who bore our sins upon the cross.

We stand in awe of His love so vast, Of His willingness to suffer in our place, That we might know forgiveness, redemption, and grace.

Thank Thee for the victory over the grave, For the risen Lord who lives forevermore, And for the hope eternal that His resurrection brings.

Let our lives be a testament to this love, that we may walk in His light and share His truth, Reflecting His mercy and kindness in all that we do.

The verse, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God,” is a beautiful reminder of the transformative and unshakable truth found in the message of the Gospel. The “preaching of the cross” refers not only to Christ’s sacrifice but also to the victorious power of God revealed through His redemption plan. Loving Him and following Him in this temporary resident (earth/flesh bodies) is consequentially the most important aspect of our existence. For to follow Him and align with His truth, Word and His ways, is the building of our future home, which lies in His Kingdom and therefore our “eternal bliss” and rewards fulfilled.

The Story of Our Souls Belonging to God

In a world filled with distractions and noise, there lived a young woman named Mary. She was always searching for meaning and purpose in her life. She felt a deep longing in her heart, a void that nothing seemed to fill. She tried to find fulfillment in her career, relationships, and material possessions, but nothing brought her lasting peace.

One day, while walking through a serene forest, she stumbled upon an old, weathered book lying beneath a tree. Curious, she picked it up and began to read. The book was filled with ancient scriptures and stories about the soul’s journey to find its true home in God. As she read, Mare felt an immense sense of calm and clarity wash over her.

The book spoke of how our souls are created by God and belong to Him alone. It referenced scriptures like:

Psalm 24:1: “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20: “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.”

It is and has been set in stone since the beginning of time – we are subject to His Word, and should we veer in a different direction, the consequences will not be rewarding, that the LORD reminds us throughout. Our actions, or “lack thereof” have resounding and rebounding repercussions. Surely – God doesn’t want to lose us and invites us to accept Him (free choice) and when we do – we will be able to partake of the “fruits” and the “rewards” of Eternal bliss with our LORD – forever!

Obeying God’s Way: Deuteronomy 5:33 reminds us to walk in the way the Lord commands, promising well-being and prolonged days in the land we inhabit. Our obedience is not mere compliance; it’s an act of trust, aligning our steps with divine wisdom.
Honoring Parents: Ephesians 6:1-4 emphasizes honoring our parents—the first commandment with a promise. By doing so, we create a legacy of respect, love, and interconnectedness that extends beyond our years.

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 15:571

Victory is a theme that resonates throughout the Bible, from the Old Testament’s tales of deliverance to the New Testament’s promises of spiritual triumph. It’s a concept that transcends mere earthly wins, pointing us towards a greater victory won through faith and perseverance.

Body In the scriptures, victory is often depicted not as a result of human endeavor but as a gift from God. Deuteronomy 20:4 assures us, “For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.”

This verse encapsulates the biblical perspective that victory is not in numbers or strength but in divine support.

The New Testament further emphasizes this by highlighting the ultimate victory over sin and death achieved through Jesus Christ. Romans 8:37 declares, “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Here, Paul speaks of a victory that is not just about overcoming but about transcending; it’s about being “more than conquerors.”
