David begins with a heartfelt plea: “Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.” He declares that he has no good apart from the Lord, delights in the saints, and refuses to follow after false gods. He rejoices in the inheritance given to him, both spiritually and physically, calling it “beautiful.” He praises God for counsel, guidance, and confidence—even in the face of death. The psalm famously ends with: “In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Christ’s Sacrifice and Resurrection

Upon the cross, His arms outstretched wide, “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows” (Isaiah 53:4), by love applied. For sin and shame, the Lamb was slain, “He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities” (Isaiah 53:5), our souls sustain.

The earth grew dark, the heavens wept, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son” (John 3:16), this truth is kept. His blood poured forth to make us whole, “With his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5), salvation for the soul.

Three days He lay in the tomb so still, “But God raised him from the dead” (Acts 13:30), by heaven’s will. The stone rolled back, the grave could not bind, “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said” (Matthew 28:6), for all mankind.

From the depths of sorrow to eternal light, “I am the resurrection, and the life” (John 11:25), dispelling night. O death, thy sting, O grave, thy snare, “Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57), none can compare.

Through sacrifice divine, through holy gain, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13), our hearts remain. Jesus, our Redeemer, risen and crowned, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), love unbound.

With hearts brimming with gratitude, we come before Thee, Thanking Thee for the precious gift of Thy Son, Our Savior, Jesus Christ, who bore our sins upon the cross.

We stand in awe of His love so vast, Of His willingness to suffer in our place, That we might know forgiveness, redemption, and grace.

The Thawing of Winter: Spiritual Resurrection and Renewal

As the harsh winter gives way to the gentle embrace of spring, we witness a miraculous transformation in the natural world. The once barren and frost-laden landscape begins to thaw, giving birth to new life and renewed vitality. This cyclical change in nature is a beautiful reflection of the spiritual resurrection and renewal that can occur within our own souls.

In the depths of winter, we may find ourselves feeling spiritually dormant or weighed down by life’s challenges. Yet, just as winter is a necessary precursor to the blossoming of spring, our seasons of struggle and hardship can serve as fertile ground for profound spiritual growth. Through faith and the love of the Lord, we can experience a revival of our hearts and souls.

In the stillness of predawn of the first Paschal, a miracle unfolded that forever altered the course of human history. The stone was rolled away, not to let the living in, but to let the dead out. New Testament 2, Lesson 2: Jesus Clears the Temple - Seeds of Faith Podcast

And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons. 13 He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you make it a den of robbers.” –

Jesus’ Righteous Anger
Jesus clears the temple and chastises the moneychangers. His righteous anger was palpable in this moment. Taking a corded whip to the sinners, sellers of animals, and money changers, chasing them from His Father’s house of worship.

This Holy Week that leads up to Good Friday, and the Resurrection of Christ – let’s all take time to reflect on His love, and His work, and His mission.

What is the most outstanding thing you can say about Jesus? How do you feel about His righteous anger chasing the merchants out of His Father’s house?

Reflect on inner righteousness and the need for true worship. Continue this pattern of reflection and prayer throughout the week, culminating in Resurrection Sunday. Truly devoting your time and thoughts and expressions of love to the LORD. Think about Jesus’ actions, and why He acted the way He did.

Jesus’ anger is a facet of His divine character, exemplifying His intolerance for sin and injustice. Unlike human anger, which can stem from selfish motives, Jesus’ anger is always pure and directed towards actions that contradict God’s holy standards.

For instance, when Jesus cleared the temple of money changers, His anger was not a loss of control but a deliberate response to the desecration of a sacred space.

This act of cleansing was a powerful statement against the exploitation within the house of worship and a call to honor God with sincerity and reverence.

Jesus’ Unconditional Love
In stark contrast to His righteous anger, Jesus’ love is the epitome of grace and mercy. His love is proactive, sacrificial, and inclusive, extending even to those who opposed Him.

Jesus demonstrated this love vividly when He washed the feet of His disciples, including Judas, who would betray Him. This humble act serves as a profound lesson in servitude and unconditional love.

Moreover, His ultimate sacrifice on the cross, where He bore the sins of humanity, stands as the greatest testament to His love. Jesus’ love is not passive; it seeks out the lost, heals the broken, and restores the repentant

Reflecting on Jesus’ life, we find a perfect balance between His zeal for God’s holiness and His compassion for humanity. His actions and teachings guide us to live lives that honor God and serve others with a heart full of love. And when doing so, we are His ultimate vessels in fulfilling His Words in Matthew 28:20 “Go out and teach the gospel to all the nations, and lo I am with you always, even until the end of the age…”

May His love show us, lead us, and guide us in the purpose of our lives according to His will, this week and all the days of our lives.

DEAR GOD: Always Running To Your Arms~

I am a “Daddy’s girl” always have been, always will be. As a little girl, I always ran straight into my “daddy’s arms.” He’s been gone for many years, due to an untimely medical mistake that cost him his life, but I still miss him, and will always love him. And I was blessed to have him in my life, so thank You LORD!

That being said, I am a “Daddy’s girl” for my Daddy in heaven, my LORD! I run straight to him no matter what, and even in good times I race right to his arms.

When things are happening or I’m experiencing turmoil in circumstances surrounding me – either be it family or friends-I only think to “run straight to Him!”

For He is the key for that ignites deeply within my soul to keep me going through it all.

I run on His love, His Wisdom, and His Word.

Without that I’d be “stalled on the highway of life” and I couldn’t function.

Much like a car being “dead” without the key to the ignition!

My LORD is the KEY!

Jesus is the key to all things in life because he is the source of life itself. He said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
Jesus is the key to all things in life because he is the ultimate example of how to live. He said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10) He also said, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” (John 13:34)
Jesus is the key to all things in life because he is the giver of grace and hope. He said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
He also said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” (John 11:25)

Jesus, being the key in life means that He is the only way to have a relationship with God and to receive eternal life. He also said, “I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.” (John 10:9)

Jesus is the key to life because He died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the dead. He paid the price for our forgiveness and opened the way for us to enter God’s presence.

Jesus is the key to life because He loves us unconditionally and invites us to follow Him. He is our Lord, our Savior, our Friend, and our King. He is the one who gives us purpose, joy, peace, and hope.

He is the one who transforms us into His image and prepares us for His glory. Jesus said, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 16:24-25)

If you want to know more about Jesus being the key to life, you can read the Bible, which is God’s word and reveals His plan and love for us. You can also talk to other Christians, who can share their testimonies and experiences of following Jesus.

You can also pray to God and ask Him to show you His truth and grace. Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)

Do you run to Him for all things? Do you feel comfort by His Spirit? Do you love Him fully and with all of your heart and soul? And finally, and most important of all – have you accepted Him as LORD and Savior in your life? He’s waiting, so then–what are you waiting for?

“Dear Father, I know that I will always find comfort in Your arms and in all You are, I will always run to You first in all of my circumstances, and believe that You are the Messiah, and my LORD and Savior, and I will never ever stray from You or Your Word, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”

When I start to say, “I wonder, if—” I have to pull those words back, step back, and know God is God, and He has it all under control, and according to His timing and will. It’s not for me to “wonder” or think about things that seem to scurry about in my mind, rambling around and around…nope, God has it all taken care of. (Be still and know I’m God…Psalm 49:10)

Psalms 27:14 – Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

When we wait with conviction in our heart and soul, we become stronger in our faith as we let God be God. As we go forward we can rest in Him, and be comforted by the promises in His Word, and hold on tight to His love and protection…and His wisdom in all things concerning His children.

Romans 5:6 – For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Christ came to this earth to “save us” and to give us the foundation and unilateral way to get to Heaven and His Father, our God. He brings us strength, resolve, and conditioning in which we exercise our inner spirit, as He dwells within all those who believe in Him.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 – To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

My husband and I have been feeling that we need to move within the next several months. However, we haven’t received the full “message” of His timing and His will…so we are waiting for the right season…according to the LORD… to move.

Mark 1:15 – The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

When it is the perfect time, it will open up. That is to say, doors of opportunity, all things will be clear. There will not be any disparaging lines in the sand, instead they will be boldly outlined for us to move forward. When things are right, and according to His plans, everything goes smoothly. Sometimes, out of nowhere—it happens, and suddenly—wham, you know it’s God’s voice speaking and leading you and directing and guiding you.

Don’t worry, don’t fret, don’t be anxious…The LORD is with you, and will working behind the scenes, when you follow Him, and trust Him, and recognize His Son, Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior—life becomes easier to navigate with Him as your GPS.

“Father, may I always recognize that You are in control of all things, that Your plans, and Your timing, and Your will are perfect, and You want what’s best for Your children, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
