Honor & Adore You LORD

LORD, all I wish to convey in this post is how much I love You and honor You. And wish to exalt You and tell You that I love You and place You first in all I do, say and feel.

Scripture encourages us to  follow His commandments, and to say within the confines of His will and purpose for our lives.  He can see what is coming down the road before we can, and He is working behind the scenes in every moment and nano second of our lives.

His provisions are never ending and His wisdom is above all else – the Word is our book for LIFE and for what comes next after we leave this earth.  Eternity is forever.  This life is but a flash in the pan. A blink of the eye and it is over.  So therefore, do all things according to His will and honor Him all the days of your life.  For He loves you like none other, today and always.

His ways are not our ways. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.  And His love reaches into areas that we cannot even begin to comprehend. Starting with sending His only begotten Son to “save us and redeem us” by defeating death and to all those who believe, shall have eternal life. But only which is possible through Christ.  To reach the Father, we need to accept the Son, our LORD and Savior.

Have you accepted Jesus Christ as Your Savior?  Is not, what are you waiting for?  I tell you the feeling is like none that can be described.

LORD, thank You for opening eyes and ears, and guiding those to Your arms, and I thank You for each day, and every second, may I do all according to your purpose, in Your precious Son’s name, Amen.

DEAR GOD: You Are So Deeply Loved

The God Who Is Loved… and Forgotten

There is a tender ache in this verse. God speaks as One who knows the depth of love offered by His faithful children — those who cling to Him, honor Him, and treasure His presence. Their devotion rises to Him like a sweet offering, warming His heart and glorifying His name.

Yet He also speaks with sorrow: many forget Him entirely. Not because He is unworthy, but because the world distracts, deceives, and dulls the soul. The One who created, sustained, protected, and redeemed is often pushed aside, ignored, or remembered only in moments of need.

Still, God waits. Still, He calls. Still, He loves with a depth beyond measure. This verse reveals both the beauty of those who remain devoted and the heartbreak of a Father whose children wander far from Him. It is a reminder that love for God matters — deeply — and that He treasures every heart that remembers Him.

Lord, keep Your people close, never drifting, never forgetting. Let their love be a steady offering to the God who never stops loving. In Jesus name, Amen.

DEAR GOD: Holding Pattern in Your Care~

“Holding Pattern in Your Care”

When we are in a “holding pattern” it can be difficult to stay still and let “God be God.”  Humans have a tendency to lack patience and the ability to have a “wait and see” attitude.  We tend to rush through decisions and want immediate gratification or answers for whatever it is we are looking for.  However – that is when we should lay it all down, walk away and look up to the One who has all of the answers.  The One who knows what is best for us, and the One who plans and guides each step of our way.

We’ve been waiting for the longest time to see if we should be making a move out of state.  It’s been going on for a while now, oh – close to 2 years or more.  Friends have begun to refer to us as the “couple who talks about it and does nothing about it.”  LOL – Well, that’s okay.  Only if you are engaged in an intimate relationship with the LORD, Jesus Christ would you or could you possibly understand this behavior.

God tells us to rest in Him.  To wait upon Him. To trust Him. And to know His voice.  Sure we have free will. And we could move if we want. But, it doesn’t feel right.  And it doesn’t seem the right time.  So we are still waiting – for God’s timing, and perfect plan and will for our lives.

Evidently at this time. This is where we are supposed to be.  We have been here for 39 years.  And I love it here.  So – it is easy for me to wait, as I really don’t want to go!  But – I feel we will eventually.  And God is “holding us in this pattern” for a reason.  One we cannot see or grasp at this time.  But it will eventually become crystal clear.  And with clarity and with faith I wait.   Until He waves us to “where, when, how and why.”

If you are in a holding pattern right now.  Whatever your circumstances are, trust in Him, the One that holds you in the palm of His hand.  Trust Him to lead you and guide you and show you the way. He always will.

Proverbs 3:5-8 says just that – Trust in God with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.  Don’t be wise in your own eyes, love Him and keep from evil, and it shall be health for your navel, and marrow for your bones. 

Wait. Reflect. Trust. And love – that’s what you do when you are in a “holding pattern.”  Eventually – it will all become clear.

“LORD, thank You for guiding us and holding us up through all kinds of adversities, and through all kinds of storms, may we always be aware of You and Your plans and will for our lives, in Jesus name, Amen.”

DEAR GOD: You Hold Us Above The Waters & Shine

💬 Comment Insight:

Life can feel like a flood—grief, debt, illness, uncertainty—all rushing in at once, threatening to pull us under. But Isaiah reminds us that God doesn’t just watch from the shore. He steps into the waters with us. His Presence is our life raft, His promises our anchor. Even when we feel like we’re sinking, He holds us up—not always by removing the storm, but by strengthening us to endure it. Somehow, we keep breathing. Somehow, we keep walking. That “somehow” is Him.

Hang in there my friends – life will get better – the LIGHT is always shining – even behind the dark stormy clouds.  Amen!

🙏 Prayer:

LORD-when the waters rise and my strength fades, remind me that You are near. Lift me above the flood of fear and fatigue. Be my steady ground when everything else shifts. Thank You for the grace that carries me when I cannot carry myself. I trust You to keep me afloat, to guide me through, and to renew my strength day by day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

DEAR GOD: Great Is Your Faithfulness~

His love is non-stop – and never ending. His Word is powerful and soul fulfilling. When we meet Him daily in the Word – we are fully armed with weapons that no one can stand against. The power of Jesus Christ has no limits. His name is the name about all else. He is the redeemer and our salvation – He is our anchor, our refuge, and our Rock.

The way we speak and the way we act – let it all be to the Glory of the LORD Jesus Christ!

DEAR GOD: Love Through Christ’s Vision and Spirit

Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law. For the commandments say, “You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not covet.” These—and other such commandments—are summed up in this one commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.

Romans 13:8-10

 

The commandments are pillars of moral guidance, culminating in the profound call to “love thy neighbor as thyself.” (Romans 13:9) This commandment encapsulates all others, emphasizing the overarching principle of love. Yet, loving someone who curses you, mocks you, or harbors hatred towards you is one of the most challenging tests of our faith.

Reflecting on the scriptures, we are reminded of Jesus’s words in Matthew 5:44, “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.” This radical love is not rooted in our strength but in Christ’s. By seeing others through Christ’s vision and spirit, we recognize their inherent worth and potential for transformation.

Furthermore, Ephesians 4:32 encourages us to “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Forgiveness and compassion are acts of love that can heal wounds and break cycles of enmity. It’s crucial to remember that love is not merely an emotion but a deliberate act of will—choosing to respond with grace and patience, even when it’s difficult.

When faced with derision or hatred, seeking help from Christ empowers us to embody tolerance and purpose. As we strive to love as He loves, we become instruments of His peace, reflecting His light in a world often overshadowed by darkness.

Loving Prayer and Blessings:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you with hearts yearning for your wisdom and guidance. Teach us to love as You love, even when faced with adversity and animosity. Fill our hearts with your Holy Spirit, granting us the strength to bless those who curse us and to do good to those who hate us. May we be vessels of your grace and instruments of your peace, always reflecting your boundless love.

Bless us, O Lord, with the courage to forgive, the patience to endure, and the compassion to understand. Let your love flow through us, touching the lives of those we encounter, even our adversaries. We seek your help and guidance as we navigate the complexities of human relationships, always striving to see others through your eyes.

In Jesus’s name, we pray. Amen.

DEAR GOD: The Resilient and Truthful Nature of Love – Which is You LORD!

“Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” -1 Corinthians 13: 6-7

In these verses, the Apostle Paul provides a profound and timeless insight into the nature of true Christian love. This passage is part of the famous “Love Chapter,” which delineates the characteristics of love in its purest form.

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; True love finds no pleasure in unrighteousness or injustice. It does not delight in the downfall or moral failures of others but celebrates the triumph of truth. In a world often filled with deception and malice, Christian love stands as a beacon of integrity, rejoicing in honesty, transparency, and righteousness.

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Here, Paul emphasizes the resilient and unwavering nature of love. Love “beareth all things,” meaning it is willing to endure hardships and challenges. It “believeth all things,” which speaks to the trust and faith that love instills, always giving the benefit of the doubt. “Hopeth all things” points to love’s optimistic and forward-looking nature, always anticipating good and remaining positive. Lastly, love “endureth all things,” showcasing its strength and perseverance even in the face of trials.

Our love must mirror the love of Christ, who bore our sins, believed in our redemption, hoped for our salvation, and endured the cross for our sake. DEAR GOD: We Find Strength in Scripture~

Should You Work on Your Weakness or Strength?

 

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

This verse is a powerful reminder of God’s sovereignty and His benevolent plans for our lives. It reassures us that, despite the challenges and uncertainties we may face, God has a purpose for each of us, designed to bring us prosperity, hope, and a promising future. It encourages us to trust in His wisdom and timing, knowing that His plans are ultimately for our good. This divine promise provides comfort and strength, especially in moments of doubt or difficulty, as we are reminded of the unwavering care and guidance of a loving God. We find strength in CHRIST!

Think of how God touches your life each day and how He influences your thinking on a daily basis.

God is with us and has only good things for us in our pathway, should we align with His word and be according to His will and purpose, we will be able to do all things through Christ and in Christ.

You will ultimately and inherently know when it is the “will of God” because things will work out easily and the puzzle pieces will fit together nicely. It will be relatively smooth even through tumultuous times – because His hands will guide you and show you the way each time.

  1. Psalm 34:17-18: “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
  2. Isaiah 41:10: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
  3. Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
  4. Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

These scriptures remind us of God’s unwavering presence and support in times of need. They offer comfort, strength, and peace, encouraging us to turn to Him and trust in His love and guidance.

Commentary on Psalm 103:10

Verse: “He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.”

Guide us to live in a way that pleases You, and let our actions reflect Your love to others. Grant us the strength and wisdom to follow Your commandments and to find favor in Your eyes. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.”
