“Jesus wept.”

💧 The Tears of God: Compassion in Its Purest Form

Two words. One eternal truth. “Jesus wept.” In this moment, the Son of God—who holds power over death—stood beside grieving friends and let His tears fall. Not because He lacked strength, but because He possessed perfect love. Jesus knew He would raise Lazarus, yet He chose to enter the sorrow of others. His tears were not weakness—they were divine empathy.

This is the heart of our Savior: not distant, not indifferent, but deeply moved by human pain. He weeps with us. He walks with us. He understands our grief, our confusion, our longing. And in His compassion, He shows us how to live.

To follow Jesus is to carry this same heart. A heart that pauses for others. That listens. That weeps. That lifts. Whether in joy or sorrow, we are called to reflect His love—not just in words, but in presence. In every act of kindness, every moment of understanding, we echo the tears of Christ.

Do you sometimes feel like you wish you could really speak to Jesus at a gathering? I mean, we know that He has assured us, “where two or three are gathered, there I will be in the midst” – and of course we know that to be true.  However – sometimes the thought of Him sitting at a dinner with us, or sitting alongside us on a bench – would be beyond anything anyone can imagine, don’t you agree?  

We Have Victory Through Christ!

In the future – when we’re called home – we won’t have to imagine any longer, cause it will become a reality, one in which we can barely grasp in our human minds at this time. But suffice it to say, for the followers of Christ – it will be our “permanent home” one day.  Until such a day and time – how “do we speak to Jesus?”  How do we commune with Him?  Below is some of the ways to being “in touch” with Him:

  • Read His message/Word :  Communicating with Him this way is an intimate way of being “one” with Christ. We adhere to His doctrine, His gospel. And we hold fast to His promises.
  • Be an example: Representing Jesus in all facets of our lives. By showing compassion, understanding. Recognizing those in need, and helping. Promoting encouragement to others, while offering the Word offering seeds and wisdom.
  • Meditating: Sitting alone – praying quietly while “listening” actively for what He wishes to express to us. Sometimes, we need to sit and “listen.”  Without saying one words, or having one thought. Just our eyes and heart focused on Him.
  • Put Him First: By placing Him above all things, and everyone else – we are solidifying our love and trust and faith in Him and Him alone. Him first. Everything else second.

We Have Victory Through Christ!

Our life as it is – is truly just a temporary journey. We are here for a purpose, and the purpose of our life is according to His will.  We are here to do a job for the LORD and to carry ourselves as Christians, with respect for the Holy Spirit that resides in each one of us, and to “listen and act” according to that will and purpose so designed by the LORD for each one of us. 

We have Victory Through Christ!

When we encounter things of “this world” we can be jarred, albeit temporarily – because our LORD will carry us through and place us on the path of righteousness, when we are for Him, and with Him. And honestly – who would want to be on any other path than the one that leads straight to Him?

So although many of us wonder, “what it would be like to sit with Jesus openly” -we know that is a distant reality one day – so for now – keep doing all according to His beautiful plan, and promote His glory, while staying faithful to Him with every single breath we breathe, each and every second of our days and nights!

DEAR GOD: Led By Your Love & Taught by Your Grace~

Expressions of Grace In the Ministry of Jesus (2), By Femi Aribisala ...Isaiah 48:17 (KJV): “Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”

  This verse is a tender declaration of divine mentorship. God is not a distant observer—He is our Redeemer, our Holy One, and our personal instructor in all things that bring true gain. The word profit here isn’t merely financial—it speaks to spiritual fruitfulness, emotional healing, and purposeful living. He teaches us not just to survive, but to flourish. And He doesn’t leave us wandering—He leads us, step by step, in the way we should go, not the way we might impulsively choose.

This is the kind of leadership that honors our dignity. It’s not coercive—it’s invitational. God’s guidance is rooted in love, not control. He sees the full terrain of our lives: the bruised places, the sacred longings, the detours we regret. And still, He says, “Come—I’ll show you the way.”

This echoes Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV): “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” It’s a divine promise of direction—not just in grand decisions, but in daily steps.

 Where in your life do you feel unsure or weary—and how might you invite God to teach and lead you there, not just toward resolution, but toward restoration?

 LORD- You are my Redeemer and my Teacher. In every season of confusion or transition, You offer wisdom that heals and direction that restores. Lead me not by force, but by Your gentle hand. Teach me to profit in ways that honor Your heart—through peace, integrity, and grace. May I follow not just the path that seems easy, but the one You’ve lovingly prepared. In Jesus name, Amen.”

"WE ARE REDEEMED........."REDEMPTION: That which was once owned, LOST ...

“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;” –Ephesians 2:19

 

This verse signifies in great magnitudes of how there is a complete shift in perspective.  It means to say that everyone is equal in God’s house. That the spiritual family of Christ are all one household of God. That ALL believers irrespective of their background, are ONE in His house.  When we are ALL doing the unifying work of Christ – we are essentially ONE body in Christ.

This spiritual citizen suggests we all have the same standing in the eyes of the LORD. That there is not one better than the other. If we are all performing and extending our every breath into working and promoting the LORD and His glory, then we in fact – are all on equal grounding and all living within the realm of “spiritual oneness” in Christ.

The focus is that Christ breaks down all barriers making us ONE in God.  His blood covered us and His redemption of those who accept Him as LORD and Savior – is grafted in us. Each one of us has His Spirit living within us. He lives in us. He walks with us. He guides us. He transforms us.  Our filthy rags are washed clean in His blood.  We are sinners who were saved and given grace through His blood and sacrifice.

Our new status is NOT EARNED – but instead is the result of God’s grace and Christ’s reconciliation and His act and work which brings us “near” and close to the LORD. Amen – The following scriptures will supply more insight into what I’ve just written.

Unity in Christ and Equality in God’s Household

  • Ephesians 2:19 “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God.”
  • Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”
  • Romans 12:5 “So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.”
  • 1 Corinthians 12:13 “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”

 Redemption and Grace Not Earned

  • Ephesians 2:8–9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
  • Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.”
  • Romans 5:8–9 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

 Indwelling of the Holy Spirit and Transformation

  • 1 Corinthians 6:19 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”
  • Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me…”
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

 Brought Near by Christ’s Blood

  • Ephesians 2:13 “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”

Loving the LORD in Today’s Times and Always

In Nehemiah’s day, the people had just rediscovered the law of God after years of exile and spiritual drought. Their hearts were pierced with conviction, yet the prophet reminded them that sorrow was not the final word—joy in the LORD was their refuge and renewal.

Today, in a world of shifting values, noise, and uncertainty, this truth remains unshaken. Joy in the LORD is not fleeting happiness or circumstantial ease—it is a deep, abiding gladness anchored in His presence, promises, and peace. To love the LORD in modern times is to choose sacred stillness over chaos, truth over trends, and grace over grievance. It is to delight in Him not just when life is gentle, but especially when it is not.

Loving the LORD always means remembering that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His joy is not a luxury—it is our lifeline. It strengthens us to endure, to forgive, to hope, and to worship even when the world feels heavy.

Reflective Meditation  

O my soul, rejoice in thy Maker. Though the earth be troubled and the nations roar, The LORD is thy portion and thy praise. He hath clothed thee with gladness and girded thee with peace. Let not thy heart be cast down, for the joy of the LORD is thy strength. Lift up thine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh thy help. Thy help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. In His presence is fullness of joy; at His right hand are pleasures forevermore. Rest in Him, delight in Him, and be glad in thy God.

Lavish Love, Unfailing Provision: The Measureless Gift of God

  Commentary & Intelligent Perspective

Romans 8:32 is a breathtaking declaration of divine generosity. Paul anchors this verse in the ultimate act of sacrificial love: God did not spare His own Son. The language is deliberate—“spared not”—echoing Genesis 22, where Abraham was willing to offer Isaac, yet God intervened. In contrast, the Father did not intervene when Jesus was delivered up. He gave His Son fully, willingly, and painfully—for us all.

This verse dismantles any notion that God is stingy or distant. If He gave the greatest gift—His Son—how could He withhold anything lesser? The logic is divine: the cross is proof of God’s commitment to our good. Not only salvation, but “all things” are freely given in Christ—peace, wisdom, strength, comfort, provision, and eternal inheritance.

Supporting scriptures reinforce this truth:

  • John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…”
  • 2 Corinthians 9:8 – “God is able to bless you abundantly…”

Tribute & Glory to the Lord

O Lord Most High, how measureless is Your mercy! You did not spare Your beloved Son, the radiance of Your glory, the Lamb without blemish. You delivered Him up—not for angels, not for the righteous, but for us: the weary, the wandering, the wounded. You gave Heaven’s treasure to redeem earth’s dust.

You are not a God of half-measures. You are lavish in love, fierce in faithfulness, and tender in timing. You do not ration grace. You pour it out. You do not delay compassion. You rush to rescue. You do not forget Your children. You engrave us on Your hands.

I glorify You, Father of Lights, for the gift of Jesus—my Savior, Shepherd, and Sustainer. I exalt You for every provision wrapped in His name. You are my portion, my peace, my promise. You are worthy of endless praise.

O Giver of Glory, O Fountain of Grace, You spared not the Son, but took our place. From Heaven’s throne to Calvary’s tree, You gave all so we could be free.

With nail-scarred hands, You lift our face, And crown our days with mercy’s embrace. Let every breath, each step I take, Be thanks for love no pain could break.

You gave Your best—how could You not Give all we need, though we forgot? So let my heart, in awe, remain, Forever singing Your refrain.

DEAR GOD: We Are Cleansed by Promise – And Set Us Free~

2 Corinthians 7:1
“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

This verse is a tender yet urgent call to spiritual refinement, rooted in the promises of God and directed toward the beloved community of believers. Paul begins with “Having therefore these promises,” referring to the divine assurances mentioned in the previous chapter—promises of God’s presence, adoption, and sanctification. These are not abstract hopes but covenantal truths: “I will dwell in them, and walk in them… I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” Such intimacy with God demands a response—not of fear-driven obligation, but of love-infused reverence.

The phrase “let us cleanse ourselves” implies active participation. Though salvation is a gift, sanctification is a journey. We are called to cooperate with the Spirit, removing both outward impurities (“filthiness of the flesh”) and inward corruption (“filthiness of the spirit”). This dual cleansing speaks to both visible sins and hidden attitudes—bitterness, pride, envy, and unbelief. Holiness is not merely moral behavior; it is the alignment of our entire being with the heart of God.

“Perfecting holiness” suggests a process, not a moment. It is the continual pursuit of purity, maturity, and Christlikeness. The word “perfecting” implies bringing something to completion. We are not passive recipients but active builders of a life that reflects God’s glory.

The Gentle Waiting of God: Our Commission, Our Daily Obedience

In the quiet moments of our lives—those spaces between longing and fulfillment—God waits. Not with impatience or frustration, but with a love so deep and enduring that it stretches across generations, circumstances, and even our resistance. His patience is not passive; it is purposeful. It is the divine rhythm of grace, calling us gently, persistently, into alignment with His will.

We are here not by accident, but by divine appointment. Each breath we take is a reminder that we are commissioned by the Lord to reflect His glory, to walk in His truth, and to extend His love to a world aching for redemption. Our lives are not our own—they are vessels of His mercy, instruments of His peace, and testimonies of His faithfulness.

The commission of the Lord is clear: to love Him with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love others as ourselves. To go into all the world and make disciples, yes—but also to abide. To dwell daily in His Word, to seek His face in prayer, and to surrender our plans for His perfect will. Obedience is not a burden—it is a love response. It is the daily yes to the One who waited for us, who waits still, and who will never stop pursuing our hearts.

God’s waiting is not weakness—it is strength cloaked in compassion. He waits for the prodigal, for the weary, for the doubting. He waits for us to trust Him enough to let go. And in that waiting, He teaches us to wait too. To wait on His timing, His provision, His healing. To wait with hope, not despair. With faith, not fear.

To abide in His Word daily is to anchor ourselves in truth. It is to drink deeply from the well that never runs dry. It is to be reminded, again and again, that we are loved, chosen, and called. And in that abiding, we find the courage to obey—not out of obligation, but out of adoration.

DEAR GOD: You Hold Us Above The Waters & Shine

💬 Comment Insight:

Life can feel like a flood—grief, debt, illness, uncertainty—all rushing in at once, threatening to pull us under. But Isaiah reminds us that God doesn’t just watch from the shore. He steps into the waters with us. His Presence is our life raft, His promises our anchor. Even when we feel like we’re sinking, He holds us up—not always by removing the storm, but by strengthening us to endure it. Somehow, we keep breathing. Somehow, we keep walking. That “somehow” is Him.

Hang in there my friends – life will get better – the LIGHT is always shining – even behind the dark stormy clouds.  Amen!

LORD-when the waters rise and my strength fades, remind me that You are near. Lift me above the flood of fear and fatigue. Be my steady ground when everything else shifts. “He Knows My Name”

In the quiet spaces of our lives—where worry whispers and hope flickers—God speaks with unwavering tenderness. Luke 12:6–7 is not just a verse; it’s a love letter from the Creator to His creation. The Lord, who paints sunsets and commands galaxies, pauses to count the hairs on your head. Not metaphorically. Literally. That is the depth of His care.

Five sparrows sold for two farthings—so easily dismissed by the world, yet not one escapes His notice. How much more, then, does He watch over you, Camille, with eyes full of compassion and purpose? You are not a face in the crowd. You are a daughter of the Most High, a vessel of His glory, a reflection of His image.

Let us give praise to the Lord who sees the unseen, who remembers the forgotten, who values the vulnerable. Glory to the One who does not measure us by the world’s standards but by His eternal love.
