Divine Healing Is For You Today! - AFCM International

Let’s dive into some verses of healing, and God’s promises to bring us joy and comfort and peace!

Healing Verses (ESV):

Jeremiah 17:14: “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save
me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.”

Psalm 147:3: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their
wounds.”

Isaiah 53:5: “But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was
crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that
brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.”

Commentary:

Healing, in both physical and spiritual senses, is a profound act of grace and tender mercy from God.

Encountering God's Mercy - Strengthen My Heart

Psalm 103:8 (ESV): “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.”

Commentary

This verse captures the very heart of God’s character, emphasizing His mercy, grace, patience, and boundless love. Unlike human nature, which can be quick to anger and slow to forgive, God’s nature is fundamentally different. He offers us grace when we don’t deserve it, mercy when we falter, and steadfast love that remains constant regardless of our actions. This contrast underscores the divine nature of God’s love compared to human frailty.
